Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: July 2026

1. Our Commitment

Oaklane Academy is committed to making its website and app accessible to people with disabilities. We believe every family should be able to document and manage their homeschool, regardless of ability, and we are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

2. Measures We Have Taken

To support accessibility across the Service, we have taken the following measures:

  • Semantic HTML and ARIA attributes provided through accessible UI primitives (Radix UI), so controls such as dialogs, menus, and tabs expose their roles and states to assistive technology
  • Keyboard navigation support for interactive components
  • A skip-to-content link so keyboard and screen reader users can bypass repeated navigation
  • Form validation errors that are announced to assistive technology

3. Conformance Status

We consider the Service to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. We are actively working to close these gaps.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some screens and interactive components are still being improved. You may encounter areas where contrast, labeling, focus handling, or screen reader announcements fall short of our goals. Remediation is ongoing, and we prioritize fixes that affect core workflows.

5. Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Oaklane Academy. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please let us know:

  • Email: kennedydesousa@gmail.com

Please describe the issue and the page where you encountered it. We aim to respond within a few business days.

6. Changes to This Statement

We may update this Accessibility Statement as we improve the Service. We will post the updated statement on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date above.
